Now the corona virus in China is under control, the new increased cases are under 10 per day.
After communicated with many foreign friends, i found they are in panic, but have no idea what to do.
As a person who experienced this virus and knew how bad it is, i want to share with you “How can we effectively prevent the infection of corona virus?”
Here are our suggestions:
1. Maintain good habits
It sounds platitude but practical. Good living habits include maintaining personal hygiene, washing hands before eating/ as soon as you go back home, and eating fully cooked food. The basic principle of hand washing is to use hand sanitizer and soap to wash hands. Don’t rub your eyes with unwashed hands, since it also could be transmit by the virus on your hands. The elderly, children and chronically ill patients are usually at high risk. Everyone needs to be more concerned to ensure that they can maintain personal hygiene.
2. Wear a face mask for prevention
Speak honestly, it is beyond understanding that you know how bad the corona virus is and feel panic for that, why don’t you wear the face mask to prevent? Looking weird? Or the virus can transmit by eyes, the rate is quite low?
Let’s say it like this, losing your life and looking weird, which one is more important for you? Why don’t we just do what we can to lower down the infected cases, to ease the burden of the hospitals?
Our advice is you need to wear a face mask for prevention, especially when you go to a densely populated area. Medical surgical masks are composed of three layers: splash-proof, bacteria-proof and hygroscopic, which can reduce the risk of getting infected by the droplets of infecting people, and also help to prevent transmission. There are different types of masks on the market, it is more important to wear a mask correctly than to choose which one.
3. Enhance our physical condition and improve self resistance
The corona virus likes to invade the weak people or people with chronic diseases because these groups have lower resistance and poor immune function. Therefore, you can choose the suitable exercise and nutrition to enhance your resistance and avoid being invaded by the virus.
4. Go to hospital as soon as you have suspected symptoms
When you have fever, cough, chest tightness, shortness of breath, chest pain and other symptoms or upper respiratory tract infection, you should wear a face mask and go to hospital to check it.Don’t judge it by yourself, so as to protect you and your family.
We firmly believe the bad time will pass, everything will be better soon.
